i worked it out on my art program and i figure with just a small mod to the doors you could have a lamborgini style of opening doors. do you think that might be a cool look. basically the only thing you would need to mod is that air vent on the side of the door and mabey shave a tad of door edge on the bottom corner

 

It has been done before. I'm not too fond of them though.

 

There is alot more to it than that. 1 big problem you will have is you will notice the doors are very heavy. Unless you buy some fiber glass doors, you will have to construct support braces for the doors, have strong air shocks to open it, etc.. take a look at that picture, you can even see at the bottom of the doors how they put the support bar there.



I did alot of research on it too, i was going to do it as well but with a custom look to it, more of a saleen s7 style doors. Its not THAT expensive if you do it yourself .. but it will be pricey and alot of work.

 

you would also have to modify the fenders unless the door popped out

then up.
