all verts have an aluminum hood. all turbos have aluminum hoods (if its steel its not oem, keep in mind the t2 hood is over $1000, so people used to steal em).



anything else is a crapshoot, it might have steel or aluminum.

Are you 100% sure? Is there something I can see that says this...because the one '87 was all original w/ low miles; I find it hard to believe that they would have replaced the hood w/ a steel one for no reason...and to have two from the same year, made within 6 months of each other both having steel hoods? Dunno, Mazda probably won't be able to tell me, I know more about their cars then they do at my local Mazda dealer....

yea its not a turbo 2 hood i wish it was its heavy i want to get an aluminum one the car doesnt have any stickers like GLX or GTU the car is an 87 n/a and do all turbo 2 tranys blot up to n/a motors i was just wondering

parts fische doesnt list a steel t2 hood. not saying it doesnt exist, just saying its not factory oem
