hey ever since i got my car ive been trying to find out what it is its like a gold color with red interior when i got it. it had a turbo 2 wing, turbo 2 rims, turbo 2 trany with rear end and stuff, but it has a heavy hood no power windows no sunroof big brakes s5 tailights with leather turbo 2 seats

Is it turbocharged, lol? What year is the car...that color combo sounds like an '86 GXL, but there was a bronze TII back in '87 though too... need more info...

 

arent all turbo II hoods alum? Im thinking he has a base hood with no scoop because its steel. And no scoop = no intercooler (hopefully )

 

No, ive seen steel TII hoods. I think its from S5s.

I've heard of reproduction T2 hoods that are steel. I think all the originals were aluminum.

Not true... in '87 the T2 had both steel and AL.... I've had two friends, both w/ white '87 T2s that had steel hoods. T2s had both....

 

i thought base's had alum hoods...
