what engine should i get?

i have an 88 RX-7. i want more horsepower but i want a reliable engine. i have no clue what to get but i am willing to spend some money trying to get a good high quality engine. any suggestions would be great.

streetport, is reliable and adds some more hp. What are u looking for; a rebuild on ur n/a or a turbo version? Try this website Pineapple Racing

what do you think is better 13B or 20B, which should i put in?

Go with a street port with as many new parts as you can get. Anything more than a street port would really require an ECU upgrade and change the car ALOT.

4K for the motor isn't bad, the problem is the computer to run it all. The JSPECS come with cut harnesses and a 4K ECU is required to run the motor. The Haltech won't do 3 rotos, some people have run 2 Haltechs. There's one that does a 3 rotor (Wolf Maybe), but I think it has a problem with the trailing plugs.... 20B's are sweet, but a nice 350 HP 13B would be cheaper.

Any ECU can run a 3 rotor if you fire both the leading and trailing plugs together. Both Electromotive and Microtech can do a split. Wolf has always promised to do it, but hasn't been able to so far.
