I think I will do the swap ive been putting money aside for a new engine ever since I got the car.I should just save up for a 20B allready.

4rr, not to dash your hopes, but putting in one of these custom swaps is NOT cheap. it's not like "ohh ill save $2k and itll be enough"



plus you need to have access to more funds in case little problems come up, which they always do, and require you to get something different.

i didnt say that you did, im justsaying you're going to have to save up a lot of money in your piggybank before you decide to do the swap, its far from cheap.

yeh its true what kev is saying



youll price it all out .... like... 3000 for engine, 1500 for labor, 1000 for ems....but youll wind up spending 1/3 - 1/2 more than your projected costs

Try a minimum of 10 thousand dollars. That is if you do all the work yourself and find some good deals.

its expensive man, 10,000 if ur lucky. seriously consider all options, such as why u are doing the swap, cuz u could go for some serious modifications w/the same amount of money. If you really wanna do it, all the power to you. and best of luck

i would much rather use a FC 13b and just do a t04e. thats enough power for me.

Every 3rd gen owner I know has junked the twin turbo for a bigger single turbo, why not do the same?
