you can get a lil bigger ports on the engine if you decide to port it.. and it can support more horsepower.. if your thinkin about doing this swap.. you should look into doing a cosmo 2 rotor swap.. id recommend that over a fd swap..

lol, you must still have that money you supposively had to buy a 3rd gen.

even Jims (the guy who did it here) said in his post that if he was to do it again he'd rather just buy a 3rd gen then do the swap into his 2nd gen.

kevin.

i'd say spend a little bit more money and do a 13b-re swap from a cosmo.. the ports are twice as big as tII's, exhaust port is very restrictive which can be ported reallyyyyyyy biiiiggggggggg... but on the other side.. you would have to run a stand alone ecu.. unless u wanna run the stock auto tranny? which is crap.... and most likely.. exhaust manifold, single turbo, wastegate, blow off valve, fmic, piping... and also custom motor mounts.. but it is better than than a regular FD swap..

i know all this because my neighboor is actually in the project is doing this to a custom 88 TII vert
