Happy rotaring!
sweet car man......but those ARE different aero mirrors. the holes on yours are more squared off while the 89-91 ones are more circular. they look every similar but are slightly different. the other 88 T2's (non AE) also have those kind of mirrors...

hehe, yeah i agree with you at the auto seatbelts are GAY! i wanna take mine out but oh well...i gotta find a decent pair off a pre 89 model

Thumbs down

Hey Vosko,

Thanks for the compliment. But I'm gonna say no...not less than $2000 for this car. Would have got a better picture with the hood down but I was cooling it off. Just came off the track at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. What a rush!Do I hear any real offers? Have a great day all! Remember the world goes round and round not up and down! Zoom zoom...

Sweet car I've always loved the 10th anniversaries. I used to have a 1990 GTU and those automatic seatbelts are a pain in the ***. I've got an 88 vert and it has the aero mirrors, see....

ok..here's what i mean

the 89-91 mirror is more curvy and bubbly than the 88 one. the cut out is more of a circle.

on the 88, it is more of a straight 87 mirror with a more rectangular cutout...also, on the "bridge" parts the 89 are thinner than the 88.

I think i know what you are saying. The hole through the mirror is a different shape, and larger, right?

Oops, didn't see that you had posted, I see what you're saying.

Also, new and more aerodynamic side view mirrors, which had that hole between the mirror and body, yet had much more beautiful flowing lines and they extended farther from the body than previous models, this also helped cure blind spots in the previous model RX-7's. The spoiler was once again standard on all models.

. Outside, new alloys were applied to the coupe models. The non-turbo models had a 15" quasi-five spoke similar to the later 3rd generation RX-7 wheels

Hope that helps.
Did only the 89-92 cars come with the mirrors w/ holes in them? And what abou the rims, 15" quasi spoke?

Cuz my car has both and its 88'.
yes. all the 89-92 FC's came with the aero mirrors (except in japan, europe, and aussie)...the T2's came with 16 inch mesh spoke rims, the verts came with 15 inch bbs wheels, the 89-90 GTU and GXL came with semi 5-spoke/10spoke 15's, and the 89-91 n/a's came with 5 spoke 15's. the 89-90 GTUs came with the T2 16' mesh wheels...

i don't "think" the 88's came with any of those features (like the aero mirrors)...but who knows...the 88 GTU is sorta like the 89-90 GTUs...so there's always an exception
Very True, hey i even got the TII tranny stock. Only difference betweem my car and the GTUs is the 14hp and some body cosmetics.

And you don't have the 4.30 final drive gear ratio.
