Vacuum Reading At Idle?
#12
Stock ports - 18" or lower
Mild SP - 16" to 18"
Large SP - 12" to 16"
BP - 8" to 12"
Autometers are not the best vacuum/boost gauges out there.
If you have drastic vacuum readings before/after engine warmed up, it might be a loose hose.

I have a 3k mile rebuilt streetported S4 six port NA engine: .5 atm at 750 rpm (cold), .6 atm at 1000 rpm (cold); .55 atm at 750 rpm (warm) and .6 to .62 at 1000 rpm (warm).
.5 atm = 15.0 in Hg
.6 atm = 17.9 in Hg
The gauge is made by VDO.
