I am guessing you got a TII tranny with the engine - Good.

The TII drive shaft is different that the N/A's IMHO I would get a new one from Mazdatrix. But if your on a tight budget get a used one. Keep your eyes open in the FS section they pop up for sale from time to time.

I had a tranny driveshaft and rear end for sale for a while but they are gone now.

If you're on an extreme budget/time frame, the N/A rear and a Automatic driveshaft can be used. It will slide into the TII tranny, and mate with the N/A rear. The auto 'shaft doesn't slide into the tranny as far as I would like, but it does work. This is what I did to a friends N/A-TII swap last weekend until he finds a TII rear.

Finding TII stuff at junkyards is pretty wishful thinking I'd say.. best bet is checking forum's FS parts and eBay.

yeah i mean the only real problem i can forsee is finding a ******* drive shaft and rear end... i have the tranny mount because i was told its different so when the tranny and engine come in ill swap them and keep looking unless i find something before then... budget ehhh not to small really but not looking to buy like a ******* carbon drive shaft and **** haha ill check out mazdatrix and see what the have but as far as using the auto tranny's rear end and driveshaft that would be just more money spent buying that and then waiting to buy the real deal although if it comes down to it i might have to do that cause im not sitting around with a huge turbo paper weight any longer than i have to

Sounds good, I just mentioned the other way to do it if you had parts sitting around like me.

In all honesty it shouldn't be that hard to find a TII 'shaft/rear, hell I saw earlier today while browsing this forum someone has a extra TII driveshaft for sale in their Sig!
