Turbo Timer To Cure Flooding?
#1
well ive been reading alot about flooding since i got my car and ive installed a fuel cutoff switch (on my 90 n/a )so i can just let it die when i drive it a short distance. BUT in the rare occasion such as mine where a turbo timer is laying around would it be possible to use that instead? not to cut off the fuel but to let it run for a few minutes ect ect. wouldnt that technically cure it? maybe turbo timers on na's are impossible but its just a thought let me know what you guys think. if not ill just give the timer away to a friend of mind.

The turbo timer will just plug in either way. IT will not cure your problem of flooding.
If you have a cut off switch for the fuel pump, just turn of the fuel pump when you are goign to turn of the car and just wait for the engine to die. Now you have no fuel leaking and flooding the engine when is shut off.
If you have problems with flooding, have your injectors clean professionally.

Turbo timers aren't just for turbo cars, they'll work on the NA..but he's right, letting the car run will not cure the problem since fuel will still be in the lines and just drip right out and flood you the next time you go to start...do what he said and all is good...if you don't want to clean out the injectors...check mazdatrix for their fuel "H" return line thing that runs the left over fuel back into the tank...
