I would say to stop swapping in trannys that are so old, I never got why
people think a junk tranny they buy for $50-$75 is going to work good?
Pay the $500 or so to have it rebuilt, and you will get a warranty with it.
And if you dont like it here, go ask your questions over at RX-7.com and stop telling us about it

whats up my ***? What kind of answer would you like?
Would you like me to read you a bedtime story and hold your hand
and rock you to sleep when I give a answer?
You say you have no money, but you ask about hardened gears and
cryo treating? STOP WASTING PEOPLE'S TIME if you cant afford it.
Junk yards give a warranty- yeah, 30 days if im not mistaken, on the part
only. A tranny shop will give you a 2 year warranty, you can even
swap the tranny in and out yourself, they will still warranty it.
So your answers have been given to you, if you read carefully instead of getting all pissy about the answers given.
Either get a TII tranny and get a custom driveshaft, or drive normal, or get yours rebuilt.

hahah.. Rob has a way with words.. but he always has a good point.. Damn him.. He even made me change my mind about fiberglass body parts.. which I used to hate.. Oh and Don't ask me to use the search young'n I am too lazy for that..

How about i ask where i can find some Synchros gears and get a rebuild kit? (which should be cheaper than 500+). Oh wait.. i did that. If im wasting YOUR time then DONT POST. Easy enough? The only answers i got "pissy" about were pointless ones such as "stop launching at redline" which OBVIOUSLY is not the problem. I said in the FIRST post that it was my 2nd and 3rd gear synchros that were giving me problems, not my first gear, so obviously im not the only one not reading and wasting other peoples time.

be prepared though, rebuilding a tranny isnt easy, by the time you buy what you need along with the tools you could probably just get it done.
Im guessing you didnt have much luck at RX-7.com if you are still here seeking answers, thats the only part that got me worked up, you didnt like the answers given, so I guess you threaten to go to RX-7.com? Just go there and ask your questions as well, no need to talk about it. ON that note, im going to watch some TV, lol.
