I just put in my new clutch and unfortunately I was right.. my tranny is making all kinds of cool noises still.. I have a quote for a complete rebuild of $650.. is there a better deal out there? maybe alittle beefier tranny? I'd rather do it right once than cheap 3x.

Yea $650 is very cheap, that's why I ended up with a j-spec trany, was a hell of a lot less then 650.00

 

Well where can I pick up a j-spec tranny for a 90 vert? and how much?

 

I"m about to rebulid my own tranny. From what I hear, if you rebuild yourself, you can buy all new syncros, bearings, etc.. for around $350 if you do it yourself.

 

You can get a jspec tii tranny for $350 from fc3s.org I believe.
