after i got my new engine installed they told me to bring it back after 5000 miles and they would reset or recalibrate wutever they tps. my car kinda idles funny sometimes from 1.5 to a little under 2.5 rpms sometimes. is that what is wrong and if so where is the tps and how to i tune it. i know where my air adjust screw is but i dont think that has anything to do with it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

woo sounds like mine, cept it never gets much higher than 1.5

ive just been living with it, ive adjusted all the screws and it still does the same thing. kind of obnoxious i guess but not anything to worry about.

if you use the clutch to bring it down to normal idle speed does it stay there?

Look through the faq section, there is a write up on adjusting the tps. It is pretty simple, you just have to make a couple of adjuster lights. However if the place is going to do it for free I would let them. Especially if your engine is under some kind of warranty.
