I've never heard of the MAF affecting the TPS. Make sure the MAF is correctly installed. The connector can sometimes be loose. Then check the function of the TPS. Connect it to a Voltmeter and check the voltage from closed to opened. The sweep should be from 1.0 to approx 5.0 with no drop offs or spikes. Typically it will reach 5.0 before full throttle, so don't be concerned about that.
