if my tps is not working right will my car not idle right or not at all

 

first a visual inspection would help check all vacume lines could be a problem and yes ur tps could cause that problem but i believe there are a lot of other things that could make it happen also

 

my turbo II would idel with the tps unpluged.( idle weird but an idle non the less)



my NA didnt seem to want to though...





ok actually reading the question, yes the tps can make your idle strange... common idles problems are from vac leaks and misadjusted tps
