OK, everyone in here with a manual tranny should have this problem, downshifting, let the revvs fall below 2000 rpms. car gets lurchy and bucks right?

WEll, i heard that you can attach a 5k resistor in the wireing for the TPS (makeing the computer slow fuel flow) instead of stopping it all together. I was wondering if this works? And how does it effect Gas miliage/waistage...

Does it really stop the bucking? Cuase i get it bad. And i havnt even done the TB mod yet.

It sounds more like a driver problem.

When you down shift you should try and match the revs using heel toe or ball edge shifting technique.

Unless your mechanic is rotary specific he will be confused by this engine.

Yes, that is how i down shift. (sounds like a motorcycle) I match the revvs and put it in the lower gear. but when it's in gear and the rpms get to around 2000 it starts to buck. trust me i know about the heel/toe.. And i always use it.
