I've already removed air pump, ACV, EGR, and bored the cat. Can I remove the TPS. I wouldn't think it would idle right if I did. I have a feeling this is a dumb question. Doesn't it control something like how much fuel/air goes in?

yeah, it basically runs off the tps in low load/low throttle situations (like parking lots), you're better with than without
