i kow i have 4 posts in a row but i have a lot of questions,what is the greatest width tire i can put on my stock 1988 gxl wheels? i already have 205/50/15's on it, can i go with 215 wide? another question is since the rx-7 is rear wheel drive ,do i hae to use rwd wheels or can i put ones say like for a civic which is fwd on it?thanks

i am running 215/55/15 on my 89 GTU rims yours are the same width it will be fine

Actually your cars offset is considered front wheel drive.

I've got 225/50/15s on my vert. Never had any problems with it rubbing.
