You have a buy an aluminum wing and weigh your chassis down with ugly body paneling and heavy layers of blinding pigmentations https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

My cars have always ran though, lol
Ahh, modified TII's last a while if they're done the right way. The problem is that the cars are cheap, and most people who buy them go the cheap/compromise route with mods.

Ran and drove 100%?
I've had 2 TII's and 2 TII convertibles. All of the cars were modified. The first convertible engine never gave me a problem over 40-50 K miles, but I wound up rebuilding it anyway. That motor only gave me a problem after 16K because the engine builder gave me the wrong rear housing. Now it's fine. The 1st TII had 138 K when I bought it, and it blew up at 160K with alot of mods. I can't complain about that. The 2nd TII is my brother's, and it does just fine with mild mods.

my $500 TII broke because i have a stack of timeslips 50 deep. when it broke i was hitting 15-16 psi in high gears........ that was its ultimate demise LOL . i broke the car it didn't break on me. there are some differences

Converting NA's to turbo isn't very hard if you know what you're doing. If you get all of the parts on your own and do all of the work it's worth it. If you're going to pay a shop to do it then it's a waste of money. TII's aren't very hard to find, but good ones are. The same goes for any 10-15 year old car.
