Anyone know how to test the Mass Air Flow Sensor on the intake? This 91 is flooding BADLY, and we think it may be getting some false info from the MAS.

its in the shop manual. basically theres 2 sensors in there, a temp sensor that will give you a resistance and the afm flap

ah... anyone have a working link to the pdf of the shop manual? Or maybe can take a glance at the test procedure for me? All I have is the Owner's manual and a Haynes book. If I can find out what tolerances to look for on it, I can determine if that's my problem before I pay... get this... $300 to have it rebuilt, apparently. That price just dosn't add up to me

found it... looks like I have a problem with my thermosensor or my airflow meter. Looks like no parts house around here carries that puppy either. Ah... the joys of fixing up a 14 year old car :-)

Check these guys out for good prices on OEM stuff. Just give them a call. For some reason they don't have much listed online.

Plus they have the parts fiche too. They're a pain, but it's nice to have access to part#s.

Thanks, guys. I actually ended up finding someone on here with an AFM and a few other parts I wanted to get. Again this board saves me and my RX-7 from complete frustration :-)
