i now that the tach in my b-series pu only goes to 7g's, but is there any way to use the stock tach with the rotary? 86 13b n326

If you pull your source from one side of the coil any 4 cylinder tach will work.



My Suzuki Sidekick worked just fine... I just had to raise the redline and add another 1000 to the RPM range.



4 cylinder = 4 pulses (1 per cylinder) per crank revolution or 1:1

1 rotor = 3 pulses per rotor revolution which equals 3 crank revolutions or 1:1
