Hey guys, right now i'm running with a 1986 Gxl, stock engine... no port work done.

I do however have Intake (Cone), Bonez race pipe (No cats) running back to Borla Cat-Backs

My questions are the following.

Should i get the engine ported? ---- I've heard alot of storys where porting a 6 port motor only increases power -SO-SO

Should i get Headers? --- If so, will there be a definate increase in power at all?

How about a chip? ---- Do they even make one for 2nd Gen Cars?

Turbo Injectors? --- Will they help?

I know theres a few questions.... but i am trying to get the most power out of my engine.. with out tearing it apart, than street or Bridge porting it. Thanks for the help. Markus

.... One more quick one. Is it possible to see 180 - 200 HP from a N/A engine?

Port: yes

Header: yes

Chip: why are you hungry?

Injectors: May need more fuel depending on size of port, may need to do more to fuel sys. as a whole.

180-200 from N/A: Can achieve w/ portwork and header, IMO.

B4 you get anything else done to the engine ...

My opinion is to do these in the following order (anyone that disagrees with this please say so cause i hate being wrong and not knowing it.. can't learn **** from that)

1. Exhaust (headers or catback is good but i went with a straight dual 2.5" from mazdrix and it works great at higher RPM's)

2. Intake ( cone filter, cold air intake, intercooler w/e)

3. Ingition (cold plugs, wires, coils, if your gonna do fuel mods for later porting or w/e)

4. Fuel system (pump, injectors, pressure regulator, and if your gonna go nuts stand alone fuel managment system)

5. Porting (for later mods i guess it might be a good idea to do some upgrades to the internals for any later high HP mods)

i guess that's for the tuner on a budget?

again if i'm wrong plz correct my ignorance
