Stock Injector Size?

I need a few questions answered about the 13B. I am new to the rotary scene and hooked.

What is the stock injector size for an 87 non-turbo rx-7? If it matters, the last 4 digits of the VIN are in 9700 range.

I would like to install a set of 550cc RC Eng injectors but I am not sure if they will cause any issues with the stock ECU fuel mapping. I do plan on performing some mods like exhaust, intake, etc., you know the usual stuff. Any correct information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

stock na 86-91 is 460cc. if you put larger injectors in, you need something to compensate for em like a super afc. actually you will find the stock injectors are big enough to handle all the mods you can throw at the car

I've heard unless you have a bridge-port or better, you don't need to upgrade from the 460s. Spend your dough on intake & exhaust.

According to this, @ 85%, the 460s are good for 225bhp.

I just called RC Eng and they said a 440cc would work. I am not comfortable with going smaller but if it will work without a problem then I'll use them. Good or bad idea?

I have to replace them because they are leaking from the body of the injector. I am reviving a neglected whip.

20cc isnt a lot, or go for 550's and get something that lets you lean it out

Thanks for all the info. I also found answers to most of my questions at this site Rotary Resurrection in the tech section. Useful information.
