ok so i've continually said im going with 720/1600(or 1680)cc injectors.

however im not sure if i really need to go that big.

My mods are in my sig (make sure to see the coming soon cause i have a lot shipping right now), and i'm looking to run about 10-11psi.

I'm looking to get an injector that will securely be able to handle that yet not be gas mileage crushing (altho someone told me that after it's properly tuned with a new ems even 720/1680cc injectors will be able to give decent gas mileage (im getting 12-14mpg right now and consider that decent)

So what size do you think i should go for, and also 1600and 1680cc injectors can fit the stock secondary rail with slight modification right?

Now for my question:

I'm going to be getting the injectors probably in 2 weeks, but i don't have a standalone yet, is it ok to put the injectors in anyway and just run like absurdly rich until i get the haltech, or should i wait for the haltech before i put in the injectors?

thanks in advance,

kevin.

The engine will flood itself as soon the secondaries kick in. There is no way it will run right. You need a haltech or another aftermarket ecu to be able to control them.

Even with a SAFC at -50% that's 800cc each injector for the secondaries and then dont' forget the primaries. Engine will flood when they kick in.

If you put in the 1600 as secondaries that is.

For you hybrid, I would get 720 all around and bump up the fuel pressure a notch and please put the walbro in and do the pump rewire.

Do you have a SAFC?

If you don't you can get by with just 550/720s as you as you have the fuel pump. and keep the boost under 10.

you sure 720s all around will provide enough, i really dont feel like doing a rebuild?

i dont have an safc but but im not sure i trust the stock 550s are you sure that setup would be good?

For 10psi yes. But i have the feeling with a hybrid you'll have some creep.

you would be fine running 720's all around at 10psi. Im going to be running a similar setup except im just keeping stock primaries and upping the secondaries to 850s and running 10psi. As long as you get the walbro and rewire it and have something to controle the fuel you will be fine.

It would be better to be sure its wired good rather then leave it up to chance because
i really dont feel like doing a rebuild?
