I have a 1985 gsl-se with a 13b 6 port.

I have removed the air pump, power steering, cruise control, fan (got an efan now), and air conditioning.

I have hte acv blockoff plate on.

I have a racing beat dual long primary setup (with a 6th port actuator bung for the 6th ports).

I just need to see how to hook up the actuator to the Lower intake mani.

Do you 2nd gen guys only actuate it by air pump, or by exhaust backpressure?

S4s use backpressure while S5s use the airpump.

Well it should be on the firewall side of the engine, near the secondary fuel rail, It looks like a pipe nipple as I recall, probably 1/2 in diameter.

whoops I thought you were asking how the split air tube was hooked up..... Umm the actuators are hooked up by metal vacuum rails under the actuators...

Well yeah, the split air tube. But i have no air pump. so would it just go to the metal rails under the actuators, and if so, how do i block off the 1/2" top of the exhaust tube?
