spedo stoped working

whens its cold outside the spedo doesent get past 20, if its warm it will work sometimes. do i need a new cable? where can i find one of these, and how hard is it to replace?

had the same symptoms before the cable finally gave out..

theres also a possibility she can just be loose.

where did u get a new one? and how do i go about seeing if its lose?

its a cable that runs from your tach to the tranny...

purchased a new cable from the dealer..

If you have messed around with things in the engine bay, or removed the dash surround, you could have slightly jarred the connection to the back of the tach, it just clips in at that location. The tranny side screws/bolts on, like Amp said, it could be loose too. Sometimes the "gear" at either end just gets worn out.
