also i know some one who works on piston engines, and he says he could rebuild the rotary with no problems...should i let him do it?or is it going to bite me in the *** if i do?

thanks

scot

I would no sooner have a piston-engine mechanic do a rebuild on my rotary than let a grocery-store butcher do my open-heart surgery.

So is it worth the money to get the engine in it rebuilt? or find a wrecked car and pull the engine? How about the j-spec (not sure what there called) engines?

How much money am I looking at for those parts banzai mentioned?

Hi scot, I had my fc rebuit with a bridgeport and polish, almost all new parts. NO labor required on my end @ all. I dropped the car off, and picked back up finished and tuned. I have now been driving it since March 05' w/ zero problems... other than ur ordinary "every car" problems. My cost - $2,400.

If ur still looking u should call the shop, the # is 732- 222-3679- ask for nick, located in NJ
