As I plan to mod my TII, I've got a few basic questions..

I understand that it's overheated intake air that causes detonation. Are there any other causes I should look out for?

Is an EGT gauge the best gauge to monitor those intake air temps?

What size injectors would be recommended-I'm running a 3rd gen fuel pump with a hybrid turbo, plan on adding an FMIC, Apexi fuel computer and possibly water injection.

get an air temp sensor, the have them for things like aircraft, and go from there.

as far as fuel goes it depends on how much power you plan on making. www.maxcooper.com has a good fuel calculator. use a bsfc of .72-.80 and see where that gets you

Timing, intake temp, afr, octane. Run those where they are supposed to be and you will be fine. If you tune with a wideband you should be able to see it comming.
