I guess I should check my tranny mounts. Other than that, I don't really feel like removing the tranny for the time being.

yeah stuff like this most of the time is just annoying, its not gonna hurt anything

After installing the awesome Mazdatrix short-throw shifter (by the way, my wife rocks ), this appears to no longer be a problem.

mine did the same thing until i changed the shifter bushings

mine did it AFTER I changed the bushings, over a year ago. The bushings I removed while installing the shifter looked to be in good condition.
