Slave Cylender
#1
here is the deal, as many of you know im doin this re swap with a t2 trans, well the motor and trans went in great but im tryin to bolt up the slave to the bellhousing and i dont know if the flywheel is off or what but the throw out fork needs to be pushed in in order to line up the bolt holes for the slave. the flywheel im using is a act street light. i cannot remember if this is normal or not so can someone refreash my memory on this subject.
#2
there is free play in the fork but not enuff , the slave is fully depressed but its off the holes by 1/4" and with the race pp im using tryin to push the fork in enuff to mount the slave is next to imposible. and i know its the correct slave as its the one i ran last year with out a failure.

Wrong.................
Which side of the disc faces to the flywheel when I install?
In 99% of the cases, the disc mounts with the sprung side (the side the hub and retainer are assembled to) facing the transmission. The flatter side of the disc faces down to the flywheel. There are a few cases, such as 93-97 Camaro/Firebird where the sprung side of the disc faces the flywheel. This will usually be apparent due to a deeper recess in the flywheel flange area of the flywheel, or markings on the disc indicating mounting direction.

in wich case this is not a camaro so that theory is out, and 2 i have a solid disk clutch and there is no sprung center its just the plate with an off set hub, and you cannot in no way mount the preasure plate to the flywheel with this disk or anyother clutch disk in an rx7 that i have worked on , no matter the clutch, the wrong way. it would take and totaly **** everything up with the disk if you forced it on backwards.
and there is no way this is on wrong. i did notice that the flywheel seamed a bit far from the motor when i assembled the engine and trans .
