S5 Engines Differences

I heard that a series 5 motor doesn't have an egr valve, is this correct?

So, if I get a crated motor, then I can just add the smog pump and it will pass CA smog.

the egr valve doesnt affect the emissions out of the tailpipe. they did leave the 2 tapped holes though so you can bolt it on and no one will ever know

But if they aren't looking for an egr valve, it wouldn't matter than. I'm mostly worried about the visual inspection.

thats what i'm saying is you can bolt the egr on (i'm assuming that is gonna be an s4 car with s5 motor) just for the visual
