Yes, but you have to have the corresponding transmission mount. S4 and S5 transmissions have different mounts.

unfortunately i got more questions to ask you guys:



how would you know if you are getting an s4 or s5 tranny/ engine. is there any special distinguishable differences?

s5 engines have electric omp, easiest way to distiguish vs mechanical s4 omp.

how about radiators? would it be ok to use an NA radiator in a t2?

I believe they are the same radiator. Just make sure its in good condition.

sorrow told me that if i get an s5 transmission, since it has different mounting, i will have to weld something to hold my transmission correctly on my 1988 rx7 10ae.. is this true? please help..

Yes, they are the same. I got a hole in mine in the AE, so I swapped in the one from the vert.

No u just have to get the correct tranny crossmember/Ysection. I have a used s5 T2 crossmember/y section for sale, $40 and its yours. Your putting in a s5 T2 motor right? or is this N/a???
