i have a stripped engine bay of a 1988 10ae

would like to know if it is a straight forward swap or there are any fabrications that needs to be done in order to have this swap possible..

if not, then i would just go for an s4 engine.

thanks for the replies people

the engines bolt right in, the only difference is the wiring. you can use the s4 wiring and computer on sn s5 motor though

gotta switch the front covers and OMP. the S5 is better but i'd probably keep the S4 unless your car is modified........

If u run premix on an s5 with the stock ecu, do u have to leave the omp there, hookedup? What would u do with it??Cuz would't it go into limp mode w/o it?

The car won't run right without the pump.

the 89+ ecu's need to have the pump plugged in, otherwise they go into limp home
