As far as the S4 motor being stronger might not be true but it has been proven that the heavier S4 rotors are the prime choice for turbo rotors. Lower compression and thicker casting all add to a better rotor. I havent been in the rotary game but 5 years but i have seen plenty of S5 turbo rotors dented to hell. and i believe the S4 cars are lighter.

The VDI system is COMPLETLY different than honda vtec. vtec affects valve timing where as VDI is affecting the dynamics of the intake manifold. ie making it larger and as we all no the larger the space after the throttlebody the better to an extent at higher RPM, as it is premixed air and fuel ready for the engine to use. Remember you so called rotary guys, rotary engines HAVE NO VALVES. and HOW DARE YOU EVEN MENTION HONDUHHHHHS WHILST TALKING ROTARY!

SMITE!

Re-Read my post. I pointed out what the VDI is, however, as i stated, the original 6-port rotary engine design was THE ORIGINAL VARIABLE VALVE WITHIN AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE.

Guess what? the 6-port sleeve...........IS A VALVE. Perhaps not the typical piston engine "valve" that youre thinking of, but it's a valve by definition, which i've graciously retrieved for you:

"valve – noun

1. any device for halting or controlling the flow of a liquid, gas, or other material through a passage, pipe, inlet, outlet, etc.

2. a hinged lid or other movable part that closes or modifies the passage in such a device."

And what do the 6-port "sleeves" do? they halt or control the flow of air from the manifold to the engine....wow it matches so much.

As for mentioning "honduhs", what's wrong with mentioning them while proving that mazda created the technology that honda brags about being the "inventor" of? Thats right, honda takes credit for what in all actuality was mazda's invention. I'll gladly talk about honda all day when it involves proving that mazda beat them to the punch.

So now who were you saying is a "so-called rotary guy"...............cause I'm pretty sure you're the only one here that fits that description.
