hello everyone! i just picked up my T2 today and i have decided to **** that car. i've located a 90 GXl with everything but motor and tranny. i am gonna swap all the needed turbo stuff into the GXL cause its like 10 times nicer than the T2. the 2 needs a windshield, fender and all kinds of other ****. the windshield alone is gonna cost me more than the whole GXl shell. i need to know what i need to do to swap all this. i dunno if its in FAQ's or not- i browsed through it and didnt really look hard. let me know what i need!

From what I can remember from Rotarymans project, he swapped it all out. He had a SE though. I think he has a S4 T2 trans, T2 driveshaft, and a GXL rear. He also rewired the rest of the car, I cant really say why because i dont remember (I think its to do with him going from a S4 to S5)



If you have the 2 cars and they sound like they have everything you need, you should only need patience and a few beers.



He should read this soon so he should post something.



I also thought there is a write up somewhere on here that 1revvin and rotaryman wrote up...hmm...I guess not
