ok scooped a power antenna motor and relay from an S4 (88) at a junkyard (basically th assembly minus the antenna mast which i have from my old antenna)



is this a simply plug and play swap or am i gonna have to wire something?



also does anyone have an idea where i can simply put a straight 12v power source to see if the antenna works before going through the trouble of installing it?



should i hear the motor work when i put the key in the acc position?

they should be the same... just switch the mast over...

hmm now im thinking my radio isnt wired correctly or something.



i plug it in, turn the key to acc and don't hear anything coming form the motor (havent tried putting the mast in yet)



i think i may have to fucked with the wiring to the radio, does anyone know which wire powers the antenna in the radio harness?
