Hi,

I just purchased my 2nd 1983 rx7 and need some help with the removal and installation of a power antenna. Can someone guide me thru this? It sounds as if I have power going to the antenna but the antenna won't expand or retract completely.It may be bent, but if so, it is not noticable. I have tried silicone spray to no avail. Any help here? Thanks[I]

Welcome aboard... ok an 83 is a first gen so is it really an 83 or something else? Anyhow, it's pretty much the same, is the antenna making any noise when you turn on the radio? They have gone bad on every RX-7 I have owned, honestly i usually just replace them with a rubber whip from the local parts store, but it's a pretty strait forward deal, just unplug the wires, unscrew the nut on the outside of the car on the fender, there are couple fastners on the inside as I recall and you are good to go?



Did i miss anything guys?
