Is there any situation where you spin one side shaft of a LSD differential and the other side spins the opposite way?

Orrrr, maybe you don't have an LSD. For it to spin backwards all the friction disk would have to be completly shot.

yeah it's either worn out to the point that it's behaving like an open diff or it is an open diff.

Two strips of burrer laid down. I don't know why it spun like that. But It works on my car just fine. I spun the tire and the other one went the same way.

I've seen open diff cars lay down 2 strips..

My car is a Sport which did not come with an LSD stock plus I have its open diff in the hatch lol. I tested the LSD again and the tires would spin the same direction. I have no idea why it did what it did on the GXL but it works.



And NO my open diff NEVER layed down two strips. The only way I know of it making two strips with an open diff is if traction is REALLY shitty like bald tires but it never did that.
