Is there any situation where you spin one side shaft of a LSD differential and the other side spins the opposite way?

ouch I am going to test it out anyways. If it is broke then miata torsen here I come!

Orrrr, maybe you don't have an LSD. For it to spin backwards all the friction disk would have to be completly shot.
|
yeah it's either worn out to the point that it's behaving like an open diff or it is an open diff.

Two strips of burrer laid down. I don't know why it spun like that. But It works on my car just fine. I spun the tire and the other one went the same way.

What N/A model is it?

My car is a Sport which did not come with an LSD stock plus I have its open diff in the hatch lol. I tested the LSD again and the tires would spin the same direction. I have no idea why it did what it did on the GXL but it works.
And NO my open diff NEVER layed down two strips. The only way I know of it making two strips with an open diff is if traction is REALLY shitty like bald tires but it never did that. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif Santiago |
