The InitialD Model 2nd Gen SUCKS!!!! If you look at the engine, it looks like a V8 Block with a single turbo intake and front mount intercooler. Complete with rotary intake manifold. It is obvious that someone did NOT model this engine off of an actual rotary engine.

Of course what do you expect for $9.99 at Target or Wal-Mart. But I got it as a gift and I should be shot for critisizing a gift. Also the rear suspension does not match up with the rear speaker housings, and the center console is not big enough for a transmission to fit underneath.

And if you are gonna ask, no, I would not be able to make anything better, so yes I should not complain about this "artist's rendering".

But has anyone else noticed this?

This model is a RHD S5 1/24 scale FC3S from Jada Toys in China.

Although, my $60 model from Kyosho of a 1/18th scale FD3S is EXACT right down to the spark plugs and placement of the turbos. My only nit is that it doesn't have an oil filter.

That's what I kept looking at, wondering what the heck the valve covers were. I just convinced myself that I've never seen a cosmo engine up close, and that it was just something on top of the engine. I'm surprised they got as much detail as they did on that thing.
