Anybody with an RX7 in Los Angeles area that can recommned a shop that can rebuild my 5 speed manula tranny? I called a local place and they want like $795. I'm seeing people say $300-400 is the normal going price. Is that right?



Anyway, looking for a local shop in the LA area that cna rubuild or if anybody knows a good source for rebuilt trannies that would be great.

795 is cheap. Never heard of a 300-400 rebuild for a tranny, that's usually a clutch change.

 

wow rebuild a tranny for 400 that is a steal. to me 800 doesnt s ound unreasoable. maby 300 to do the clutch??

 

I got my trans rebuilt fot $400, just have to find the right place, and that was with better than stock parts I believe.
