Someone I know is making these. What do you guys think? I might get one for my white fc. This is just the "plug" and its still in development. Its suppose to weigh under 10 pounds, and he wants to sell them for under $300. The back portion of the hood is suppose to go all the way down the radiator, kinda like the ferraris.

That is the final product? That looks like **** sorry to say. But if it weighs under 10 pnds, that would be decent.

How much does the stock hood weigh?

Did you read the post he said this is just the "plug" and its still in development.I don't really like it the hole is way too big.The bay would get dirty quick. He should try something similar to the scoot hood but for the fc.

The point of the large hole is so there can be a shroud if you may that runs to the bottom of the radiator. And you need a gradual slope for this. The reason the top is so high is to created a higher pressure zone there. As far as I understand..

i think the scoop is too tall. i still wanna know what you're making it from. we have a 1 layer cf hood (you can see daylight thru it, lifts 1 foot off the windshield at speed) and its 15#....
