Remove Fan Shroud?

I know its there for a reason, but is it a big deal to remove the fan shroud if there is no e-fan? The car runs a bit warmer but as summer approaches, and because its g d hot here, I'm a kinda worried.

The stock clutchfan is basically useless without the shroud.
