is the fan shroud of a fiero in plastic or metal? I thought it was in plastic but I called the junkyard and they said metal....

just a bit confused....

 

I used to work for v8archie.com, and never have I seen a non-plastic electric fan on a fiero. I have an 87 sport coupe which also has a plastic fan/shroud (one unit) stock. I recall someone telling me once that they had used the fiero fan on their RX7 to convert from the mechanical fan, but they wired a manual switch to control the fan. The fiero fan obviously does not have a thermostat controller built into it as say the black magic one from summitracing.com would have.
