Removal of the sound deadeners in a NA housing

Does anyone know how to do what the title says? I know you can just swap out T2 housings, but I don't have the money for that. Any suggestions? I've tried using a jiggsaw with metal blades, but it dulls the blade out before it even touches it!!!
