If something gets in the way of them going down they will drain your battery because they never shut off.

Yeah, theres something jamming it.

See if you can't get it open and have a look at the actual gears? Or see if something is physically stopping it.

Push the roof by hand, its like that with pretty much every seven out there with a moonroof, help it back and forth by hand, and it will close/open no problem, leave the lights up, unplug the motors, and see if your battery problem is solved, how many times you kill that battery? Might be time for a new one if it dont hold charge.

Use the switch on the left side of the instrument cluster to put them in the up position, that might stop them from draining your battery each time. You can manually crank them up and down by hand if you want to. Underneath the car, directly below the lights are small cranks you can turn by hand.

Ok I think I got the headlight thing down, I have minor fender damage and after closer inspection there is a piece of metal blockiong the path. I turned on the car and put in the fuse for the light while the car was running, the unhindered light went down but the other didnt. So I'm gonna pull out the fender and hopefully the motor is still good. Oh the moonroof works now. yay! Are any of youz wise guys going to Sevenstock! I'm soo there.
