Radiator cap help
I am looking for the FLAT CAP that's on the therostat hosing. Looks like a radiator cap but has no spring. I tell them that but they can't find it. Surely this isn't a MAZDA ONLY part.
Okay so I go the parts store...... Needless to say they can't find what I need. Anyone know what to tell them?

I ended up using a 16 lbs cap on the thermo neck and a 13 lbs cap on the radiator cap. It looks like that will work. I had a leak from a bad thermostat gasket (wished I had realized that before I filled the system).
Parts stores have no idea about this flat cap. It's the same one used by 93' and up RX7's on the air seperation tank. For some reason Mazda only used this design on early (through 88' Sevens) 89-91 have no cap on their thermostat housing.
Thanks
