is a s4 clutch compatible with a s5 block? They are both turbo engines, I just know that ACT sells a s4 clutch and a s5 clutch (the same style) as seperate prices. Im not sure if the holes will line up, etc... as far as I can see, they should work with eachother.

The reason I ask is because my friend gave me his act cluch hes not using, since I burnt mine up and I need a temporary.

i think the s4 clutch has to be on a s4 trans, and a s5 clutch on s5 trans.

you cant swap clutches n/a on n/a trannies turbo clutch on turbo trannies, the turbo clutches are 23 spline and the n/a are 22.. im not sure if you can swap between s4 and s5

flywheel has to match engine series (interchangeable Sx n/a or Sx turbo) and clutch has to match trans (n/a or turbo)

Im using a s4 rb flywheel on a s5 block. The s4 clutch will obviously bolt to the s4 flywheel... which will also work with the s5 tranny.

No problems so far.

I'm using s4 rotors in a s5 block ... with a s4 lightend flywheel (RB) and a s4 counter weight from a s4 vert. Right now The s5 stock clutch is bolted on. Im replacing it with an ACT s4 clutch. It will work fine

Its a special engine, but damn its a frankenstein... lol We're gonna throw 30psi at it and see how she handles
