To me feeling my turbo is more important than hearing it.

I could never hear the turbo in my folks 940Turbo or any BOV. Now in my moms cruiser, the turbo spools up by 2500rpms and I don't know when it dies off, but that BOV is so damned loud! PFwwwooooooooooosh! I wanna cut out the traction control on her cruiser so she can WOT without slipping all over the place. Pretty fast cruiser. Can easily take on a stock TII. Even a TII with catback.

Nothing wrong with wanted to hear your turbo. I love the sound of mine. Bovs get annoying though. I like my w/g flutter

Louder turbos usually means the turbo is dying.

Something to think about...



I'd rather NOT hear my turbo spinning unless it's a BB center GT-series!

I've been waiting for someone to confrim this. I figured mine was shot after the 1st time I boosted it and it was so loud. not to mention the sloppiness of the shaft play or the "tinging" I hear from the turbine housig with a stethscope.
