pulled 88 t2 motor : What to do?
#11
Good time to clean the inside of the engine out with some carb cleaner if you have the intake and exhast manis off. turn it over by hand and watch the gunk come out. Finnish up with a bit of oil so you dont hurt it in start up.
Hi all, just pulled out a t2 motor to put into my 88 gtu. Other then replacing all the vacuum lines, and getting rid of the rats nest, what else would you recommend I do? I'm also going to clean up the engine, but obviously thats nothing special.
Thanks guys.
